Scholarships for International Students at York University, Canada

York University offers a number of scholarships to undergraduate international students. These scholarships include the Global Leader of Tomorrow Award, United World College Scholarship and International Entrance Scholarship.
 
General Eligibility Criteria:
Applying for September entry
Have an excellent academic record ("A" average or equivalent)
An international student with a Study Permit for Canada
Applying to the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree program in one of the following Faculties:
  • Liberal Arts & Professional Studies
  • Environmental Studies
  • Fine Arts
  • Glendon
  • Health
  • Science & Engineering
  • Schulich School of Business

Global Leader of Tomorrow Award         

Value: $60,000 ($15,000 x 4 years)

Eligibility
Highest academic average
Nomination by high school
Leadership and demonstrated skills
To renew - must have a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York

United World College Scholarship

Value: $100,000 ($25,000 x 4 years)

Eligibility
Enrolled in a United World College and high academic standing
To renew - maintain a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York
York requests that only one candidate be nominated per school

International Entrance Scholarship

Value: $100,000 ($25,000 x 4 years)

Eligibility
  • Highest academic average
  • Demonstrated leadership skill
  • Letters of recommendation
  • To renew - maintain a high academic standing (7.80 on a 9-point York scale) in each academic year at York
